GenQ Pride 2025: The third digital pride by Russian NGOs and the queer community
GenQ Pride is organized by a team of activists with a focus on Eastern Europe, Central Asia, and other regions where holding offline pride events is impossible or unsafe. This year’s hosts include Tanya Kalinina, Roma Polyakov, and Dilya Gafurova. Special segments will be co-hosted by Sasha and Arina from the podcasts Lesbian Lobby and Glitter and Carbines.
The program features film screenings, a lecture with a psychologist, a workshop on labor rights and advocacy, and a talk by Kolya Nakhshunov on queer manifestos. Human rights organizations such as the Committee Against Torture, Memorial, and Dilya Gafurova will share self-protection tools. For entertainment, there will be a living library, queer quizzes, art therapy, and a live concert.
