The initiative Запретить нельзя Жить launches a charity fund for transgender teenagers
On October 5, the initiative Запретить нельзя жить announced the launch of a charitable fund aimed at helping transgender teenagers purchase hormone therapy medication.

All collected funds will be used to cover the cost of hormone therapy — treatment that, according to the initiative, helps improve psychological well-being and align one’s appearance with gender identity.

According to organizers, the approximate cost of medication is:
€18 (≈ 1,700 RUB) — estradiol gel for MtF individuals, lasting about three weeks;
€75 (≈ 7,160 RUB) — injectable hormones for MtF individuals, lasting about one and a half months;
€50 (≈ 4,700 RUB) — injectable hormones for FtM individuals, lasting about five months.

Donations can be made in cryptocurrency — anonymously via MetaMask (Ethereum, BNB) or to a personal ByBit account (Bitcoin). Support is also available through Patreon, where Visa and MasterCard payments are accepted, and donors can receive branded merchandise.

Organizers stated that monthly reports on income and expenses will be published on the initiative’s official channel.

Safety of Donations

The organization notes that security is a key concern for donors inside Russia.
For donors abroad, contributions are considered safe, though those planning to return to Russia should remain aware of potential risks.
For donors inside Russia, the initiative recommends providing direct support to individuals in need. To do so, supporters can contact the project via direct message or email at znzh_transrights@proton.me

The launch of the fund continues the work of Запретить нельзя жить, which focuses on documenting and supporting the transgender community in Russia.
